We miss him
Father Alvin Cabacang
Father Alvin Cabacang

Regarding the obituary of Father Alvin Cabacang, (Feb. 17, page 21):

Father Alvin will be greatly missed. He was a shining light that brought me closer to God. I loved his homilies, especially when he came down the aisle and called on one of us to answer. It kept me attentive. He knew when to use humor and when to be serious.

A true teacher, during our nine days of the Simbang Gabi festival, he would always review the important points in the previous day’s homily. He was so welcoming, never too busy to give us a welcome hug.

I love to think that now there is someone in heaven who is ready to help and welcome us when our time comes.
