To the Sentinel:
I am dismayed regarding the Vatican directive that we are no longer allowed to use the word Yahweh as part of the Catholic worship experience in the US. Are there not more important issues in this time of turmoil? Dan Schutte’s hymn Yahweh, I Know You Are Near has been a constant source of comfort and joy at Mass, funerals and countless personal reflections. Do you really think God cares what we call Him?
