Gregory Joseph Jacobs, a member of St. Mary Magdalene Parish in Northeast Portland, died Oct. 28 from a stroke. He was 55.
Mr. Jacobs was born May 26, 1953, in Portland. He graduated from The Madeleine Grade School and Central Catholic High School. He also attended the University of Oregon. Co-owner and operator of Jacobs Heating and Air Conditioning, he retired in 2006. He married Karin Johannsen in 2002. He was preceded in death by his father, Basil Jacobs.
He is survived by his wife, Karin; son Nick Jabobs; daughter Libby Jacobs; mother Twila Jacobs; sister Dana Jacobs; brothers Brent, Mark and Bradley Jacobs.
