NEW YORK (CNS) — Here are some television program notes for the week of Feb. 7 with their TV Parental Guidelines ratings if available. They have not been reviewed and therefore are not necessarily recommended by Catholic News Service.
Sunday, Feb. 7, 10-10:30 a.m. EST (EWTN) "EWTN Bookmark."
The focus for this week's edition of the series is "The Memoirs of St. Peter: A New Translation of the Gospel According to Mark" by Michael Pakaluk. Doug Keck hosts (TV-G — general audience).
Wednesday, Feb. 10, 8-9 p.m. EST (History) "Tuskegee Airmen: Legacy of Courage."
This special celebrates the achievements of the Tuskegee Airmen, the legendary group of African American pilots who served in World War II.
Wednesday, Feb. 10, 8-9 p.m. EST (PBS) "Big Bend: The Wild Frontier of Texas."
This "Nova" presentation looks at the wildlife and serene beauty of America's Wild West (TV-PG — parental guidance suggested).
Thursday, Feb. 11, 4-6 a.m. EST (EWTN) "International Mass on the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes."
People from around the world gather for this eucharistic liturgy in Lourdes' underground Basilica of St. Pius X in France. The program will be rerun 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. EST (TV-G — general audience).
Friday, Feb. 12, 9-10 p.m. EST (PBS) "Musica Sin Fronteras (Music Without Borders)."
Featured performers on this episode of the series "In Concert at the Hollywood Bowl" include Carlos Vives, Cafe Tacvba, Siudy Garrido and Paolo Bortolameolli (TV-G — general audience).
