Tuesday, May 4, 11:30 a.m.-12:45 p.m. EDT (EWTN) "Holy Mass on the Feast of the English Martyrs." The eucharistic liturgy for the feast of the 40 Martyrs of England and Wales, broadcast from the U.K.'s Basilica of Our Lady of Walsingham (TV-G — general audience).

Friday, May 7, 9-11 p.m. EDT (PBS) "Uncle Vanya." This episode of the series "Great Performances" showcases Conor McPherson's adaptation of the 1898 play by Anton Chekhov. Toby Jones and Richard Armitage star (TV-14 — parents strongly cautioned).
