Sunday, Sept. 12, noon-2 p.m. EDT "Beatification Ceremony." Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski (1901-1981), Archbishop of Warsaw-Gniezno, and Sister Roza Maria Czacka (1876-1961), founder of the Franciscan Sister Servants of the Cross, are declared blessed (TV-G — general audience).

Monday, Sept. 13, 9-11 p.m. EDT (PBS) "Sandra Day O'Connor: The First." A look at the life story of the pioneering woman who became the Supreme Court's first female justice. An "American Experience" presentation (TV-PG — parental guidance suggested).

Friday, Sept. 17, 9-11 p.m. EDT (PBS) "The Red Shoes."
