Monday, Sept. 7, 10-11 p.m. EDT (PBS) "Portraits and Dreams." In filmmakers Wendy Ewald and Elizabeth Barret's documentary, former Kentucky schoolchildren reflect on photos they took in the 1970s and look back at the lives they have led since then. A "POV" presentation.

Tuesday, Sept. 8, 9-11 p.m. EDT (A&E) "I Want My MTV." This "Biography" special charts the rise of the music video cable channel that became a cultural phenomenon.

Wednesday, Sept. 9, 8-9 p.m. EDT (EWTN) "EWTN Live." On this week's edition of the show, series host Jesuit Father Mitch Pacwa talks with author and professor Paul Kengor (TV-G — general audience).

Friday, Sept. 11, 8-9 p.m. EDT (History) "9/11: The Final Minutes of Flight 93." A look at the fate of the hijacked plane that crashed in rural Pennsylvania on Sept. 11, 2001.

Friday, Sept. 11, 9-10 p.m. EDT (History) "9/11: The Pentagon." Chronicle of events at the headquarters of the U.S. military as it came under attack by terrorists.

Friday, Sept. 11, 9-11 p.m. EDT (PBS) "Romeo and Juliet." This episode of the series "Great Performances" showcases the choreography of Kenneth MacMillan performed by dancers from The Royal Ballet (TV-PG — parental guidance suggested).
