Tuesday, Oct. 20, 9-10:30 p.m. EDT (PBS) "Walter Winchell: The Power of Gossip." This episode of the series "American Masters" profiles the gossip columnist and broadcaster (1897-1972) who helped to create the fast-paced, politically charged journalism that dominates today (TV-PG — parental guidance suggested).

Wednesday, Oct. 21, 8-9 p.m. EDT (EWTN) "EWTN Live." Filmmaker Rob Orlando and author Paul Kengor speak about their documentary, “The Divine Plan,” which follows the actions of U.S. President Ronald Reagan and St. John Paul II during the Cold War. Jesuit Father Mitch Pacwa hosts (TV-G — general audience).

Wednesday, Oct. 21, 9-10 p.m. EDT (PBS) “Touching the Asteroid.” A look at spacecraft OSIRIS-REx and its attempts to grab a piece of an asteroid to bring back to Earth. A "Nova" presentation (TV-G — general audience).
