Chris Bouneff’s advice for families, churches and schools
1. Families should focus on the basics: rest, diet, exercise and social connections, both within the family and externally. There’s often nothing you can do about big things happening in the world. Focus instead on what you can control.
2. If you do need help, reach out.
3. Parishes and schools — and individuals within them — can emphasize social connections. Reach out, talk to others, give and receive emotional support.
