EUGENE CITY — This city presents an animated appearance at present. There are four new brick stores lately completed, and several others in course of construction, which will be finished before winter. The railroad company have removed all their iron from the depot, having taken it to the front.

Merchants are receiving their full supplies, and business is fair, considering the low prices farmers are offered for their grain —fifty cents per bushel for wheat being the highest paid.
