Thank you for your excellent two-part article. It was informative and a Catholic wake-up call.

Many Catholics I know are concerned about racism and are studying the problem and taking action. Besides those who have participated in Portland-area nonviolent demonstrations, others are in groups sharing articles, discussing racism and training how to decrease racism in their lives. Some are using the information provided by Reimagine Oregon, reimagineoregon.org, to better understand proposals for equal justice being pursued.

May we strive for the world of acceptance and love that Jesus taught us to build.
