EUGENE — O’Hara School students and staff last month presented nearly 350 toys to Marine Corps representatives who delivered the gifts to needy children for Christmas.

For the last five years, O’Hara has been the largest private collection location for the local Toys for Tots efforts, collecting 350-400 gifts each year. Marine Staff Sgt. Opetaia Sitafine thanked O’Hara students for their efforts, saying, “More kids will have presents under the tree and smiles on their faces on Christmas morning.”
