The 69th Annual Pilgrimage in honor of the Assumption of Mary into Heaven is Monday, Aug. 15 at 7 p.m. at Holy Rosary Church, outside of Scotts Mills. It will begin with the recitation of the rosary in procession, followed by Mass. The celebrant will be Benedictine Father Ralph Recker, pastor.

Holy Rosary Church is the only place in the Portland Archdiocese that has continuously celebrated an annual pilgrimage since Pope Pius XII declared a Marian year in 1954.

Refreshments will be available in the church basement following Mass.

Holy Rosary Church, Crooked Finger, is located in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains. It is 5 miles SE of Scotts Mills, at 21782 Ettlin Loop.
