A Catholic-inspired community that includes people with disabilities got bad news at year’s end. The Christmas tree sale shed/trailer used by L’Arche during its annual fundraiser in Northeast Portland was stolen.

“Please keep an eye out for a small green shed with red trim on a trailer,” the organization said on Facebook.

The Christmas Tree Sale is a major project L'Arche Portland has been holding for more than 30 years. The shed also contained many of the supplies used for the sale.
