SPRINGFIELD — “Welcoming our New Neighbors: A virtual evening with Nujeen Mustafa” will be presented Tuesday, Nov. 17, by the Refugee Resettlement Coalition and Catholic Community Services of Lane County. The Zoom presentation will feature Nujeen Mustafa, who will share her story of traveling 3,500 miles from Syria to Germany in a wheelchair. A Kurd, she is an activist with cerebral palsy.

The talk begins at 6 p.m. Tickets are available for $20 through Catholic Community Services at ccslc.org/wonn. Those who purchase tickets will receive a unique login a few days before the event.

The first 50 local ticket purchasers will receive a box of appetizers created by Party Downtown delivered prior to the event.
