After nearly eight months and 20 bargaining sessions, Providence St. Vincent Medical Center and Oregon Nurses Association labor negotiation teams announced in early June that they reached a tentative agreement on the terms of a new collective bargaining agreement, covering almost 1,600 registered nurses.

The nurses’ negotiation teams will provide the represented registered nurses at Providence St. Vincent more details on the tentative agreement and the planned ratification vote. Specifics of the tentative agreement will be available to the public following the ratification vote by represented nurses.

The nurses’ association is still bargaining individually with Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center, Providence Milwaukie Hospital and Providence Hood River Hospital.
