“We were approached by a group of volunteers who asked if we would help them start a small community-based food pantry, and everything came together,” said Tom Mulhern, Catholic Community Services executive director.

FOOD for Lane County provides additional supplies, Catholic Community Services trains the volunteers and oversees pantry operating procedures, and the Thurston volunteers pick up and distribute the food.
