SPRINGFIELD — Elva Sipin is joining PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend as vice president of operations.

Sipin will provide operational oversight at RiverBend to ensure the hospital continues to meet the needs of caregivers and patients. This is a new role at RiverBend, one that is designed to provide campus oversight.

Sipan comes to PeaceHealth from Providence St. Joseph Health in Southern California where she most recently served as executive director of post-acute services,” said Mary Kingston, chief executive, PeaceHealth Oregon. “She was instrumental in creating a culture of high caregiver engagement through open communication and process improvement initiatives.”

In her 18-year career, Sipin earned a US News and World Report’s high performing and best nursing home five years in a row and was instrumental in achieving a magnet designation for hospital distinct skilled nursing facility.

Sipin earned her master’s degree in management with an emphasis in healthcare from the University of Redlands in California.
