SPRINGFIELD — Grocery Outlet Bargain Market here concluded an anti-hunger drive during July. Customers purchased pre-packed bags of groceries and made monetary donations.

The sacks of supplies — $12,095 worth — went to the Springfield location of Catholic Community Services for distribution in the food pantry. Catholic Community Services also received a $500 cash donation to purchase shelves for food storage.

Grocery Outlet owners Tom and Tracy Hogan offer the drive each year to alleviate hunger among neighbors in need.
