Successful give and take in a relationship is a sign of healthy balance. When that balance is upset, feelings of excessive dependence or undue responsibility result.

An interactive workshop at the Northwest Catholic Counseling Center offers tips about healthy and unhealthy forms of dependency and gives suggestions for nurturing healthier forms of interdependence.

The workshop, led by counselor Michelle Sideroff, is set for Saturday, Feb. 22, 10 a.m. – noon at the center, 8383 NE Sandy Blvd., suite 205, in Portland. Cost is $30. Hardship scholarships are available upon request.

Pre-registration is required and can be carried out by going to nwcounseling.org/services/workshops or calling 503-253-0964.
