OREGON CITY — Angelina Velasquez died Feb. 12 in Oregon City. There will be a funeral Mass at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25, at St. John the Apostle Church, followed by a committal ceremony at Willamette National Cemetery at 2:30 p.m.

Mrs. Velasquez was born in Del Norte, Colorado, April 24, 1945. She graduated from Costilla High School in New Mexico and married Albert Velasquez Jr Aug. 20, 1966.

She worked as a pharmacy technician at the VA Hospital, where she received high praises from co-workers and patients.

She was an active member of the church and enjoyed being a member of the Catholic Daughters of America.

Her beautiful life will be remembered by her family and many friends.

She is survived by daughter, Valorie Kloer; granddaughter, Britney Ekerson; great-grandchildren, Peyton Ekerson, and Henry Ekerson; siblings, Ruth Romero, Helen Krause, and Joyce Peverly; and many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and six siblings.
