GEARHART — Charlene Marie Katana Miller, 75, beloved wife, mother and grandmother (Nonna) died Aug. 24 in Gearhart. There was a funeral Mass with a rosary at St. Philip Benizi Church in Oregon City.

In 1977, they moved to Redland where she worked at the elementary school and became an active member of St Philip Benizi.

In recent years she had been enjoying more time with grandchildren, and extended family (her sister Carlene, and her nieces and great-nieces and nephew), with weekend stays at the Oregon coast, traveling to Hawaii, Arizona, and Washington, and gardening.
