Jeanette Marie Greenstreet-Crawford died peacefully July 8, at home surrounded by her husband and children after a nearly 10-month battle with cancer. Her burial service in Gethsemani Cemetery was held July 14.

She was born Oct. 1, 1967, to Gary and Sally-June Greenstreet. Ms. Greenstreet-Crawford graduated from All Saints Grade School, LaSalle High School, and Mount Hood Community College, where she received an associate’s degree in graphic arts.

She met Gary Crawford at college and they were married Aug. 4, 1990. She worked for the Enterprise Courier for two years as a graphic artist until the paper ceased operations. She helped design their final issue. She then worked at the Vancouver Columbian newspaper as a graphic artist for nearly 10 years. She left to raise heTrummr family in Happy Valley, becoming a member of Christ The King Church. She served on several committees and sang in the choir. She had recently returned to work part time as a cake decorator for a local ice cream shop, something she had a flair for and enjoyed.

She leaves behind her loving husband and children, Celia, Eric, Evan and Audrey. She will also be missed by her sisters, Michele Brooks, Anne Lorber and Teresa Greenstreet; and her brothers, Gary, Eric and Brian, as well as all her siblings’ spouses. She also leaves behind her parents, nieces and nephews, and friends, from school and the many she made during her lifetime.

A memorial Mass will be held at a later date at Christ The King Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, Ms. Greenstreet-Crawford wished remembrances to go to First Image, (First-Image.org).
