Julie was born at home in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, to Arduino and Juliette Collamati on November 6, 1923.

In 1945, as WWII was ending, she married Sgt. Edward Chamberland. She worked as a superior court clerk for San Bernardino County, California.

Julie was an avid golfer, woodcarver and also enjoyed knitting, painting and other crafts. She served as past president of the St. Mary Altar and Rosary Society and en-joyed her involvement in many church activities.

Julie was preceded in death by her husband, Edward, and siblings Romeo (her twin), Cecilia, Joseph, Lucien, Albert and Ernest. She is survived by siblings Louis and Helene; and by her children, Eileen, Larry (Noreen), Linda and Julie (George); eight grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services were held March 17 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church in Shaw.
