CENTRAL POINT — Leon Stupfel, 75, peacefully passed away at his residence in Central Point Aug. 11. He was a beloved husband, son, brother, father, papa, uncle and friend.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Elsie Stupfel, as well as, his sisters Lillian and Lori and brother, Bill.

He is survived by his wife, Betty; daughters, Jennifer Brace and Jeanean Zeigler,; sons-in-law, Brian and Bill; four grandchildren, Ryan, Briana, Jordan and Julia; his sister Linda Tozer and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was an Oregon State Police trooper and detective and a member of the Northwest Polygraph Association.

He enjoyed golf, sports and outdoor activities. He was involved with the Men's ACTS. Retreat and the Knights of Columbus through his parish, Shepherd of the Valley. He was heavily involved in both coaching baseball/softball and refereeing football throughout the valley and beyond.

There will be a funeral Mass Saturday, Aug. 21 at 11 a.m. at Shepherd of the Valley Catholic Church in Central Point. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Men's ACTS Retreat at Shepherd of the Valley Catholic Parish. Arrangements by Conger-Morris Central Point Chapel.
