Millie Dover died March 29. The funeral was at St. Clare Church.

Millie was born Sept. 3, 1925, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Rudolph and Mary Eisenbeis. The family, looking for work, moved in 1928 to Los Angeles. Mary and Rudy had four more children and in 1944 bought land in Eugene and moved north. Millie graduated from the University of Oregon in June 1948, with a degree in sociology. It was in Eugene that she met Monte Dover. They were married at St. Mary Church in Eugene April 21, 1951. Monte liked the big city of Portland and the newlyweds moved there and began to build their life, which would include seven children in their first 11 years of marriage. They were active members of Assumption Parish in North Portland 1955-81. Millie helped with fundraisers for both Assumption Grade School and the church. In 1981, Monte and Millie moved to Southwest Portland and became active at St. Clare Parish.

Millie was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Monte, who died in 2010.

Millie is survived by her seven children, 17 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
