ALOHA — Nancy Andresen, 85, died Sept. 3. There will be a funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 14, at St. Cecilia Church in Beaverton, where she was a parishioner.

Mrs. Andresen, the youngest of four daughters, was born April 26, 1935, in Portland to Frank and Rose Lalli Sacchini. She graduated from St. Mary’s Academy. After high school, she worked for Bocci and Bromberger, a wine distributorship. She met Dave Andresen through the Catholic Chancellor Club and they married on July 19, 1958. Together they raised four children. Mrs. Andresen enjoyed being a homemaker, showcasing her creative talents in sewing, cooking and gardening.

She blended her strong faith and resourceful abilities to make a positive, healthy and happy home for her family. She was an active member of St. Cecilia Parish.

Mrs. Andresen went back to work for Tektronix after raising her children and was a responsible and organized employee. A highlight was a trip to Gotemba, Japan, where she met the Sonytek team she worked with in the International Department at Tektronix. She retired after 15 years, and she and her husband traveled to Europe and Italy to visit her Italian cousins.

Mrs. Andresen enjoyed delivering Meals on Wheels for over 15 years with her sisters, daughters and niece. She is survived by her children Stephen Andresen, Karen Chalmers, Mark Andresen, and Kristi Schlotfeldt; their spouses, and eight grandchildren, Kevin Chalmers, Katie Chalmers, William Schlotfeldt, Aysa Andresen, Daniel Chalmers, Lucas Andresen, Philip Schlotfeldt and Gibsen Andresen.

Mrs. Andresen was preceded in death by her husband, who died Aug. 1 this year, and sisters, Mary Ann Sacomano, Louise Piacentini and Angela Quinn. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to St. Cecilia Parish or the Meals on Wheels program.
