St. Rose Parish in Northeast Portland is holding adoration every Friday night. Those wanting to worship don’t even have to leave their cars.

The Blessed Sacrament is exposed in an upstairs window of the church, so that it can be seen in the school parking lot.

“People just sit there and pray,” said Mary Harrison, a parishioner at St. Rose. “I just thought it was so special.”

The Eucharist is exposed every Friday night from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the back end of the church. Worshippers can come and go as they please.

“It’s so peaceful,” said Harrison.
