This fall, St. Andrew Nativity School is welcoming five new staff members. It has also created a new position. Ana Garcia will be the Northeast Portland school’s first family partnership coordinator.

“The new position will help the school support the whole family unit, especially during these times when connection is so important,” reads a press release from the school.

Rayfield Evans joins the faculty as a social studies teacher, Julianna Smith as the religion teacher, and Lisa Burnham joins the development department, filling a long-vacant position.

Danielle West, who has a master’s degree in social work and is an alumna of Nativity, is the new school counselor.

In addition, Nativity graduate Anthony Blake is chairman of the board of directors this year.
