Mount Angel – The Benedictine Sisters of Mt. Angel invite you join them on Sunday, May 1, the Feast of St. Joseph the Worker, for the 12th annual St. Joseph the Worker Dinner at St. Mary Parish Center in Mount Angel. Social begins at 5 p.m. with dinner and program at 6 p.m., all benefitting the St. Joseph Shelter.

Over the past 28 years the shelter has provided thousands of homeless families and migrant workers with safe modest housing, meals, necessities and help to find stable permanent housing. In 2015, the shelter provided 24,321 meals and 49,721 shelter nights to 36 families including 81 children and 65 migrant workers. The shelter’s number of family rooms increased from 11 to 17.
