EUGENE — O’Hara student Allie Ferrari delighted staff by writing a poem that nicely illustrates the faith of a primary schooler. Here is the poem:

I Am
I am a child of God
I wonder if everyone loves God
I hear God talking to me
I see angels
I want peace
I am a child of God.

I pretend I live with God
I feel loved by God
I worry about my friends
I cry when I am sad
I am a child of God.

In understand that God loves me
I say let there be peace
I dream that the homeless are ok
I try to care
I hope I can help
I am a child of God.
