For Lent, our faith sharing group chose to read a document from the U.S. Catholic Bishops titled “Open Wide Our Hearts.” We were inspired by Deacon Harold Burke-Sivers who spoke at our parish in January. The document was completed in 2018. The topic is racism in our church and society and how to overcome that evil. The well-written piece is easy to read and follow.
