Regarding “Pelosi action earns praise,” June 3, Page 22:

San Francisco Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone declared on May 20 that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is not to be admitted to Communion. Archbishop Naumann of Kansas City noted the “moral gravity of her extreme efforts to promote, to advocate and to initiate legislation” supporting abortion.

In the May 20 issue of the Catholic Sentinel, Bishop Robert Bar-ron in his column on page 22 tells us, “A health society needs leaders — political, economic, cultural, religious, etc., who are an-imated by a keen sense of objective moral value.”

Archbishops Cordileone and Naumann demonstrate leadership. Thanks go to Archbishop Alexander Sample for publicly support-ing Archbishop Cordileone’s declaration.
