Regarding “Three themes,” April 1, Page 23:

Two men or two women cannot sleep together. It’s an abomination (Romans 1:26-27 and 1 Corinthians 6:9-11).

St. John Paul II said only men can become priests. It’s settled.

Women can imitate the most powerful woman in the world, Mary, the Mother of God.

Those who support the ideas in that letter to the editor should reconsider for the safety of their souls.

I agree with Hope. I believe that Our Lord & Savior is the only one who can save us, that we must always love our neighbors with all our hearts and not a certain type of neighbor for the faith is not a club. You could one of the types who enjoy being a bigot just for the sake of being a bigot.

I've reconsidered it and I stand by my conscience. I have not strayed from our Lord Jesus Christ. This fear-mongering to mask your own bigotry is unbecoming of us as Catholics. Christ taught us to love our neighbor with all our hearts. For the hope of the salvation of your soul, I pray that you take those words to heart.
