When a friend informed me I would not be able to attend Mass, it tore my heart apart and still does. Not receive the precious Body and Blood of our Lord? The loss is indescribable!

At least there’s still confession. Recently, my parish priest asked me to pray for souls who are struggling and may be lost. Perhaps many have become like smoldering wicks, dying, orphaned, prey to be remolded and deluded by secular culture.

We Catholics know the eucharistic Jesus is the one thing necessary. He heals both body and soul. I urge my Catholic family to pray like never before.

The 2016 book “In Sinu Jesu” may help. There’s a chaplet of reparation for priests in it.

As a priestly people we can with holy Mother Mary be compassionate along with her divine son before the sacrament of love. Love waits to befriend us and heal the entire church.
