Sometimes it seems the American church is devolving into a social justice agency with an attached liturgy. The church does receive a lot of money from the government to help fund its charities and thus may be reluctant to oppose those providing the largesse.

But resisting the present age must be good work. Fighting evil or supporting those who do must be redeeming, win or lose.
