Regarding “Pro-life movement turns to Mary for help,” Nov. 6, Page 5:

On behalf of the Fatima prayer cells of St. Henry and St. Joseph the Worker parishes, I want to thank Sarah Wolf for the fine article regarding the Oct. 11 Rosary Coast to Coast prayer procession from St. Joseph the Worker to the Planned Parenthood facility on Division Street.

Mary Nordlund, president of the Portland Division of the World Apostolate of Fatima, and other devotees of Our Lady of Fatima thought that the very best way to participate in the annual Rosary Coast to Coast would be a rosary procession to a place very much in need of prayer. Our Lady of Fatima asked us to pray and greatly encouraged us to pray the rosary. How marvelous it was that so many, approximately 65 persons, joined in honoring Our Lady of Fatima and asking her intercession for souls. It was a real spiritual work of mercy.
