I joined St. Anne Church in Grants Pass last year after eight years of art therapy and spirituality there, then lectio divina and contemplative prayer for a year, and finally RCIA. I volunteer in the St. Anne School first grade. I was Lutheran for 60 years. I love the beauty and mystery of the Catholic Church. Watching full screen Pope Francis on March 27 walk through empty St. Peter’s Square in the rain at dusk then blessing us all was a highlight of these times.

I have read almost every article in the Sentinel for more than a year. Your newspaper fills me in on the many wonderful aspects of the Catholic Church: caring, environmental, multicultural, elders, children, schools, science, history — as well as the dark side of humanity. You broaden me.
