Regarding “There is no Planet B,” Oct. 4, Page 28 and subsequent reactions:

The World Health Organization estimates 7 million worldwide premature deaths last year due to air pollution. The organization also estimates there were more than 150,000 deaths on the planet in 2017 directly from global warming alone. 

That the climate is changing is beyond doubt. There is an overwhelming amount of data and observations to show that.

Although my fellow scientists cannot “prove” how much of climate change is man-made, objective scientific evidence indicates a lot of the change can be attributed to human activity.
