Regarding “Conference to address path to joy in chaos,” Aug. 5, Page 3:

We want to thank the editor for reporting on this upcoming timely event to be held at St. Edward Parish in Keizer Sept. 23-24. Ralph Martin is a highly respected theologian, teacher and author and is a strong trusted voice the church needs to hear today.

Ralph often tells us that “There is nothing without the Lord.” Life can be hard with many difficulties, but our hope is not to be in the things or voices of the world, our hope lies in Jesus Christ and his One, Holy, Catholic, Apostolic Church.

We are very pleased Ralph Martin is coming to speak with us about the many issues facing the world and the church. Ralph’s teachings and resources give us the tools, inspiration and encouragement to live holy moral lives and to be able to live with joy and confidence, and to live in the world but not be of it. Ralph will talk about it being possible to have joy and peace in the midst of these confusing times.

I would encourage all to consider registering for this important conference to hear clear teachings about the many issues of our times.

The title of the conference is, “Living with Joy and Confidence in these Challenging Times.”

On line registration is open until Sept. 16 and can be for in per-son or livestreaming for home viewing. There will be late registration for attendance Friday evening and Saturday morning. To register online go to tinyurl.com/ralph-martin. Or for more information email ralphmartinconference@gmail.com.
