Regarding “All-boys school could be coming to Portland,” June 18, 2021, Page 8:

The proposed school seeks to save boys from the ravages of life by making them modern day knights to preserve their faith.

The learning style is based on the idea that boys misbehave and have a lower grade-point average because their brains function differently than the brains of girls, for whom recent conventional education seems better suited.

The truth is, all children learn differently.

I believe this approach will negatively affect the boys’ minds and emotions with a strained and cultish form of education.
